South African Grammy-award winner Zakhele “Zakes” Bantwini took to Instagram to celebrate his darling wife Nandi on her birthday as seen in his post shared on Wednesday, 20 March.
Zakes Bantwini and his wife Nandi first locked eyes at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nominee party, SowetanLIVE reported several years ago. According to the publication, in 2017 during an interview on Anele Mdoda’s show Real Talk with Anele, Nandi revealed that the Osamo hitmaker was her second boyfriend ever.
“I met him at the SAMAs… I told him I love his music and I think he’s amazing. Cause he is, if not the best performer, one of the best performers. So I was being genuine and he was like ‘I love you’,” Nandi was quoted as saying at the time on the show.
This year, the duo will be marking their 11th wedding anniversary, according to TshisaLIVE.
Recently, the 43-year-old musician and record producer penned his gorgeous wife a birthday tribute on his feed. He posted pictures of her with their two kids Shaka and Nefertiti, and two other photos.

This was the same treatment that was given to Cassper Nyovest who bought his new Maybach from the same dealer.

Basetsana Kumalo is filled with gratitude and excitement as she turns 50-year-old today. The former Miss South African penned a lengthy note about her journey over the past years. Basetsana talked about her family and how the values infused in her helped her become a better person in society at large.
“On the 29th of March, 50 years ago, it was God ordained and anointed that I turn fifty on Good Friday. I was born into the Makgalemele family to my dearly departed parents Ntate Phillip and Nomazizi Makgalemele, their third daughter after Aus’ Lerato and Maniko (Johanna) my younger brother who is the last born of the family Mojalefa was born two years after me,” she wrote.
“I was raised in a loving home where Christian values were instilled in us from a very young age. My father was a bus driver and my mother was a teacher, out of their 8-5 jobs, they were entrepreneurs, formidable and ahead of their time.”
