Actress Fanele Ntuli, who plays Dr Thandekile Zondo in Durban Gen says she was nervous about joining Uzalo as Nomaswazi Magwaza.
The Durban Gen actress Fanele Ntuli began shooting with Uzalo in 2022 as Nomaswazi Magwaza and had to juggle two roles at different locations. She tells Sowetan that she had to be on both sets on the same day at times and it was taxing.

Happy Birthday to the South African radio Presenter Penny Ntuli.

Penny Ntuli is a South African radio personality and Disk Jockey. She had dreamed of working for a top radio station since childhood.

Early Life

Penny Ntuli is from Umlazi, which is located in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The 26-year-old grew up dreaming of working for a legendary radio station.

Career

She joined the regional commercial radio station Gagasi FM on May 1, 2022. Prior to this position, she worked for the community radio station Inanada FM.

Ntuli has collaborated with legends such as Alex Mthiyane and Felix Hlophe. Because she enjoys what she does, being a disc jockey does not feel like a job. It has given her the opportunity to collaborate with industry legeShe had hoped to work for a major radio station for many years, but this is a dream come true. So, for the time being, future aspirations can be put on hold.

She previously worked for other community radio stations such as Durban Youth Radio and Vibe FM before joining Gagasi FM.

‘Masked Singer SA’: Exclusive Q&A with Nthati Moshesh

Iconic actress Nthati Moshesh was the first celebrity to be unmasked on season two of Masked Singer South Africa, which aired on S3 (formerly known as SABC3) on Saturday, 6 April.

NTHATI MOSHESH FIRST CELEB UNMASKED ON ‘MASKED SINGER’
The first episode of the second season of hit reality series Masked Singer South Africa aired on Saturday, 6 April on S3, formerly known as SABC3 – DStv channel 193. Wildebeest and Springbok locked horns on the first episode of the series, before Butterfly and Rainbow vied for the votes of the detective panel and studio audience.

South African media personality Mpho Pops reprised his role as the host for the second season of Masked Singer South Africa. The detectives are J’Something, Somizi Mhlongo, Sithelo Shozi and Skhumba Hlophe. Springbok was the first celebrity to be revealed on the show as actress Nthati Moshesh. All of the detectives had no idea who Springbok was.

“Initially, Somizi focused on Springbok’s over-the-top make-up, J’Something gauged that her beautiful necklace indicated that she loved fine jewellery, and Sithelo figured that they were dealing with a ‘girl’s girl’. However, Springbok’s competitiveness signalled to Skhumba that she’s a “Springbok for real”, in other words, an accomplished sports star,” according to Primedia.

‘Champions’ fans praise Sello Maake KaNcube’s performance

Viewers of the Mzansi Magic telenovela Champions took to social media this week to applaud Sello Maake KaNcube.

SELLO MAAKE KANCUBE: WASHINGTON MODISE HAS CANCER
The former Skeem Saam actor Sello Maake KaNcube’s character, Washington Modise, is diagnosed with cancer.

It is reported the actor might be leaving the show soon and his character will get killed before the end of season one.

Entertainment commentator Jabu Mcdonald wrote: “Sello Maake deserves an award for this role.”

While Champions fan @ulangelihlee wrote: “He definitely ate that role please.”

He’s joined by award-winning actress Jo-anne Reyneke, who plays his daughter Sne Modise, while Kgomotso Christopher plays his wife Lucinda Modise.

His brother Philemon Modise is portrayed by popular Blood and Water actor Tumisho Masha.

@shaz_bantuza, who’s a fan of the actor says: “Personal stories aside, this man is legendary. He owns every role. From Archie, to Ntate Kganyago to Dr. Mashobadieta, Daniel Nyathi. Every character sticks to him. He’s brilliant.”

Maake KaNcube is known for his roles as Archie Moroka in Generations, Ntate Kganyago in Skeem Saam, and Danie Nyathi in Scandal! and many more.
