Siya Kolisi dines with Roger Federer: Daughter reacts, steals show

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel Kolisi, shared a photo of their daughter’s reaction in the middle of their family dinner with Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer on Instagram on Saturday 25 May.


 

SIYA AND RACHEL KOLISI DINE WITH ROGER FEDERER
Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, his wife Rachel and their two kids – Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6) had dinner with Swiss tennis iconic Roger Federer. Rachel took to Instagram to share a photo from the dinner date on Saturday 25 May. While two sporting legends are usually the centre of attention, Keziah’s reaction stole the show.

Siya currently plays for Paris-based rugby team Racing92. So, his family relocated from Durban, South Africa to the city of love, Paris in 2023. This was after Siya led the South African national team, the Springboks to become double Rugby World Cup Champions in October 2023.

Federer on the other hand, who has a whopping 12.4 milliion followers on Instagram, has his own link to South Africa. The iconic Swiss tennis player’s mother, Lynette Federer is from Germiston, Gauteng. In 1970 Lynette started working for a Swiss Chemical Company (Ciba), this was where she met Roger’s father, Robert Federer. The pair later got married in 1973 in Switzerland.

Robert and Lynette had two children, Diana Vanessa who was born in 1979 and Roger Federer who was born 1981.
