‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’: LaConco is ‘not Mrs Zuma’

Reality star Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco stated that she was not Mrs Zuma on the first episode of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which released on Showmax, on Monday 27 May.

LACONCO IS NOT ‘MRS ZUMA’
The first episode of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip has just released, and the drama was already streaming in within the first few minutes. Christall Kay (Real Housewives of Johannesburg) and Bev Steyn (Real Housewives of Cape Town) travelled to the Mai Thai Villa in Jamaica together… and it seems Bev had already offended Christall.

Christall was upset that Bev said she would be the first lady to start a fight, and she seemed to hold on to that for a while. Thereafter, more of the other housewives started to arrive at the villa. Real Housewives of Pretoria star Melany “Mel” Viljoen then greeted LaConco with “is this Mrs Zuma?”, to which she quickly said no.

“She was supposed to respect that surname, she was once governed by it. Yes. She’s supposed to respect that surname, she can’t just mention it haphazardly,” she said in her confessional.

MEL VILJOEN: ‘I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING’
Later on, just before dinner, LaConco addressed this with Mel. She asked Mel what that was about, because she didn’t appreciate being called “Mrs Zuma.” LaConco then explained that she was never the first lady.

“I was never the first lady, I was engaged during his time,” she said.

“It comes from a place of me being under the assumption that you were married,” said Mel.

LaConco then pointed out that Mel said “were”, so she asked if she had been sarcastic. Mel then replied saying she did not know if LaConco had changed her surname, but the reality star affirmed that she had never been a Zuma.

However, the ladies quickly squashed their misunderstanding and moved on. Take a look at all the ladies from different South African Real Housewives franchises who star on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
