However, against her post, Mzansi quickly spotted her Petite Boite Chapeau (Round LV Sling bag). Khanyi Mbau was wearing a colourful dress, which was complimented by a Louis Vuitton designer bag, which has since thrust her into top trends.

Fashion lovers were undoubtedly quick to include the bag’s price tag. The bag is one of the most coveted handbags in its line and costs a fortune. It costs R85 000 in several shops dotted around the country. However, she is not the first South African spotted with a coveted designer bag.

Like Khanyi Mbau, the celebrated Amapiano sensation DJ Maphorisa was spotted with the bag. In 2022, the muso took to X, formerly Twitter, to share photos of his LV designer bag, with a base price tag of R85 000. After all this is one of her flashiest designer bags.

However, he also showed off his Round Zip wallet. The zippy wallet has a base price tag of R18 500 at Walmart.

MAKING HEADLINES
After all, Khanyi Mbau lives lavishly and is unapologetic about it. Over the years, she has hogged headlines with her sense of fashion, often with some of her pricey designer clothes.

A few months ago, she topped trends after her photos with a designer bathrobe made rounds. She was wearing a Versace bathrobe that cost a whopping R10 000. Surprisingly, she once made it known that it was the duty of celebrities to sell vanity.

However, she has been put on a blast for supporting international luxury brands that don’t care about them. Khanyi Mbau and DJ Maphorisa are some of the celebrities who have been accused of snubbing local brands for international designer clothes.

A few months ago, DJ Maphorisa silenced the critics after he splurged over R90 000 on Galxboy Merchandise. Over the years, he has hogged headlines with his designer clothes that cost a fortune.
