Skeem Saam actor Clement Maosa recently turned a year older, and his close friends threw a surprise birthday party for him.
Best known for his on-screen character of Kwaito on the educational drama series, Clement Maosa has fast become one of the most followed actors and often trends whenever he posts on social media.

The star actor has been trending after Mzansi connected the dots about his age. Over the years, he has kept his private life under wraps, leaving many to guess about his age. Surprisingly, he is 36 and was born on 9 May 1988 in Limpopo, South Africa.

Over the years, he has celebrated his birthdays with lavish parties, but this time, his close friends and fellow cast threw a surprise party for him. Celebrities at Clement Maosa’s birthday party include Hungani Ndlovu, Lunga Shabalala, Eric Macheru, and Nolwazi Shange.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared some priceless moments from the party.
Clement Maosa shared a series of photos and captioned them with a lengthy caption. Part of the post reads, “What was meant to be a surprise lunch ended up as just lunch with the word “surprise” being compromised. I mean, even exam papers get leaked. Who cares.”
The other part of the caption reads, “Lesson: don’t take life too seriously, appreciate every moment granted, and more so, it’s the showing up regardless that makes life worth living. This ladies and gents was the perfect imperfect half surprise birthday lunch.”
CAREER
Clement Maosa was thrust into the limelight with his on-screen Kwaito on Skeem Saam. He studied Law at the University of Limpopo. Rumour mill has it that during his final year, he auditioned for Skeem Saam and was later cast as Kwaito Seakamela.
Growing up, Clement Maosa wanted to be a soldier but pursued acting. In one of his interviews, he said, “I saw a notification on Facebook from Mzansi fo sho about the auditions. I travelled from Limpopo to audition, and fortunately, I got the role.”
However, he has since spread his wings to music. The celebrated actor also doubles as a DJ.
