Unbothered? MaMkhize fails to submit tax-related documents to SARS again – reports

It never rains but pours for MaMhkize. The Royal AM owner is making headlines after she reportedly missed her second deadline to submit tax-related documents to SARS.

The news has thrust her into top trends thanks to her huge following.

MAMKHIZE ‘FAILS TO SUBMIT’ TAX-RELATED DOCUMENTS TO SARS
Rumour mill has it that SARS requested tax-related documents from the multimillionaire, but she allegedly failed to submit them.

However, little is known about the requested documents and whether they are connected to her R40 million debt. The businesswoman owes SARS around R40 million in unpaid taxes.

She has been embroiled in a string of tax-related woes in recent years. Two years ago, reports emerged that MaMkhize had an R12.7 million debt.

However, the debt ballooned to over R37 million after the club was ordered to pay former Royal AM star Samir Nurkovic’s two-year contract in full in 2024.

MaMkhize’s tax woes led to the raid on her R20 million La Lucia mansion. Little is known about the seized assets. The debt has since affected Royal AM.

Against the raid, the taxman revealed that the raid was part of its ‘effort to combat tax evasion and criminal activities that undermine the country’s economy.’

With the club under curatorship, unconfirmed reports have it that she has been pocketing Royal AM’s grants from the PSL.

CLUB UNDER CURATORSHIP
These damning allegations come barely a few weeks after the club was put under curatorship amid her SARS woes.

However, despite her woes, the team recently reported for duty after being on the sidelines for almost two months over unpaid salaries.

Last week, the publication confirmed that players officially resumed training following a meeting between the players and management.

With the club’s fixtures currently suspended, little is known about when the club will be in action.

Last year, MaMkhize also issued a statement sharing more details about the situation at Royal AM. This came after it was reported that the club failed to pay its players and staff.

Part of her shared press release reads, “The club’s management team, led by our CEO and General Manager, has been working diligently with the curator to secure the necessary permissions to release funds for salary payments.

“It has always been the ethos of Royal AM to prioritise the well-being of our personnel, and we remain dedicated to upholding that principle despite the current challenges.”

Despite her woes, she has made headlines with her life of glitz and glamour, leaving many convinced that she is allegedly unbothered by her woes.
