South African actor Sello Motloung has died, a very hard period for the industry

Renowned South African actor, Sello Motloung, has tragically passed away, leaving the nation in mourning. The news was confirmed by Actor Spaces in a statement shared on social media:

“We are devastated to inform you of the sudden passing of Ntate Sello Motloung on Sunday, 15 September. His family is in shock, and we ask that you give them space during this time. Motloung’s management has also confirmed his passing, leaving fans, colleagues, and the entertainment industry at large reeling from the loss. He was widely recognized for his role as Kokobela in the popular SABC drama *Kokobela*, a role that cemented his legacy in South African television.
