Former group member of 2Faced, Slenda Da Dancing DJ is moving on solo. This comes after the publication reported she has split from the group she was in with Thuli Phongolo.
Slenda Da Dancing DJ is a headliner for “Lit Friday” at Cosmopolitan in Maboneng, Johannesburg.
Speaking to the publication, the DJ, real name Sithabile Lucia Zungu, said her fans must get ready for her fire set.
“I hardly plan because I play music from my heart, but I definitely will make them feel like they are in Durban. I am a dynamic and captivating performer. I’ve become a powerhouse entertainer, seamlessly blending my exceptional dancing skills with my talent for DJing,” she said.
Her unique dance style, an embodiment of Gqom culture, quickly set her apart. It was natural she would extend her talent to selecting music that gets crowds moving.
“As a DJ, my performances are an electrifying fusion of dance and music, creating an immersive experience that keeps audiences entertained,” she said.

Slenda Da Dancing DJ said she’s doing the final touches up on her new EP and has dropped her solo single Mali Yetoho.
“My goal is to achieve everything to the best of my ability and to push our music culture internationally.”
