Nomalanga discovers that Sibongile is working at Gen-X, and Kwenzo meets Jabu for the first time. Sibongile confides in Zama about her feelings for Kwenzo. The helpers react to surprising news from Nomfundo.

Kwenzo calls Sibongile to inform her that her purse has been found. Gcina advises Nomalanga to follow Kwenzo, as she becomes suspicious of his movements. Njengaye urges Vusi to tell Phetheni the truth about how he became CEO.

When Kwenzo lies to Nomalanga about his whereabouts, she takes matters into her own hands and confronts Sibongile at the Gen-X offices. Kwenzo is devastated when Nomalanga calls him with bad news. Velephi, tired of everyone making an issue about Sibongile being in varsity, decides to take control of her life.

Noma and Gcina agree to keep the bad news from the Dlaminis and get Kwenzo on board. Kwenzo and Sibongile are comforted by Jabu. Njengaye calls for a family meeting and lays down some rules.

Jabu invites Sibongile to join him on a trip to Durban, where they get to know each other better. Meanwhile, Kwenzo and Nomalanga host a private send-off ceremony. Phetheni accuses the helpers of leaking Dlamini family information to her wealthy neighbors.

Kwenzo is stunned when Nomalanga suggests something insensitive. Gcina advises Nomalanga to use Kwenzo’s grief to grow closer to him. Njengaye faces the consequences of his actions.
