Sello Maake KaNcube returns to ‘Skeem Saam’

Skeem Saam actor Sello Maake KaNcube will return to the show to portray Ntate Kganyago.

KGANYAGO RETURNS TO ‘SKEEM SAAM’
The actor Sello Maake KaNcube exited Skeem Saam in December 2022 after his character stole from his lover, Jacobeth Thobakgale (Elizabeth Serunye).

 

The TVSA teasers reveal that Kganyago will return on Thursday, 13 June when Rathebe (Gontshe Ntshegang) sets a trap for him.

Thursday 13 June: “Rathebe sets a trap for Kganyago, and he falls into it.”

The Monday 17 June teaser also reveals that Jacobeth will jeopardize her safety to track down Kganyago.

Maake KaNcube joined the show in October 2022 as a patient of Dr Lizzy (Amanda Manku) at Turfloop Hospital.

In the storyline, Ntate Kganyago warns Lizzy about a potential scammer (Luc) that Lizzy was considering going on a date with.

He then convinces Jacobeth to invest half a million rand into a scam, proposes marriage to her, and convinces her to turn her back on his daughter Elizabeth after she found out he was trying to scam her mother.

Lizzy and Jacobeth find out that Kganyago is working with Luc (Jean-Michel Tuji Mukengeshayi) who tried to swindle money out of Lizzy.

The two manipulate women and swindle money out of them and disappear when they get what they want.

SELLO MAAKE KANCUBE: OTHER ROLES
The Skeem Saam star Sello Maake KaNcube is famously known for playing Archie Moroka inSABC1’s soapie Generations.

The award-winning actor has also appeared in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, The Queen as Kgosi.

He also starred in The River seasons one to three as Malefu’s brother, Uncle Sechaba.

Maake KaNcube currently portrays the role of Washington Modise in Tshedza Pictures’ Champions.
