She shared photos and videos of receiving her new car at a local dealership.
She captioned the now-viral post, “Funny how my life was falling apart when the year starts I thought it was going to end with me (Oh so I thought) but God had a better plan for my life & through the prayer of my mother, it was well.”
Against the now-viral photos and videos, The South African has connected about Penny Ntuli’s new car. The on-air host bought a new VW T-Cross R-Line 2024.
The car’s base price tag is R600 000 in several dealerships around South Africa. However, prices tend to differ due to trims and the year of manufacture.
Surprisingly, she showed off one of her sleekest cars, a BMW X5 xDrive30d, with a base price tag of R1.8 million.
TWO ACCIDENTS IN TWO DAYS
The Jozi FM presenter shared pictures of her damaged car on Facebook earlier this year. She revealed that she had been in two car accidents in two days.
She said, “In my 7 years of driving, I’ve never caused an accident or been involved in one, but this is now beyond me. Last night, as I was parking my car in the yard, I heard a car going in the opposite direction.”
Penny Ntuli added, “I tried pressing the brakes and pulling the handbrake, but the car hit a wall and got damaged in the same spot as yesterday’s accident. This car needs to go back home. No way!”
CAREER
She started her career with several local radio stations, including Radio DUT, Vibe 94.7 FM and Inanda FM. She had her shot to fame in May 2022 when she joined Gagasi FM.
Despite lauding Gagasi FM’s gig as one of her biggest career achievements, she dumped the station in the eleventh hour. Penny Ntuli left the station after being offered an R2 800 for a 3-hour Sunday Show.
Against her contract woes, she said, “Ngaleyo mali angeke ngikwazi kwenza lutho. I asked ukuthi where will I be approved. Impilo izoma mengiveza iPayslip yami. I asked ngizowondla kanjan umndeni wami ngalemali ngoba bonke babheke mina?”
Penny Ntuli added, “Bona bangaphila ngalemali? Bengingalwi. Umphathi wami u-Ayanda Melansi, in the negotiations, suggested I consider things other than being ON AIR (this also killed my confidence heavily).”
Barely a few days after announcing her resignation from Gagasi FM, she announced her new gig at Jozi FM. She will host the Mid Morning Chat Show on the Johannesburg-based radio station.
