Actress Ama Qamata under fire after what she said to South Africans about Miss SA SA contestant,

Well-known Mzansi actress Ama Qamata speaks about the Chidinma Adetshina’s incident in regards with her participation in Miss South Africa 2024.

The actress broke her silence after Home Affairs revealed the model’s mom was involved in a fraud case, which further fueled South Africa’s anger at the lady.

Taking to Twitter, Ama slammed South Africans for directing their anger at Chidinma instead of the government.

“It is so unfortunate that Chidimma is a scapegoat to a much bigger issue in SA. If anything, this exposed the level of corruption taking place in government, we need to hold them accountable for allowing such unethical procedures to take place under their governance,” she wrote.

Qamata further explained her initial statement to avoid misunderstandings from the public.

Chidinma Adetshina

“Let me be clear & leave no room for misinterpretation. The rage, hurt and disappointment of South Africans is valid, you’re not wrong or xenophobic in wanting to uphold lawfulness in SA. However, the anger is misdirected. Government officials sold your identities to foreigners.”

Ama is furious at South Africans’ silence at the government.

“Why are you not mad at them? Why are they not held accountable?? They are the ones who are supposed to protect you but instead are selling your identities to benefit monetarily,” she wrote.
