MZANSI’S TV series Shaka Ilembe, which captivated audiences in 2023, continues to make waves on the global stage.

The Septimius Awards were held from 19 to 20 August at Tuschinski in Amsterdam.

The series earned multiple awards and nominations at the prestigious international awards ceremony, with a noticeable victory for its historically authentic costume design.

Sheli Masondo, the visionary costume designer behind the series, accepted the Septimius Award for Best Costume Design.

‘I am still proudly South African’: Chidimma on her Nigerian crown chase

While competing for Miss Universe Nigeria, former Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina says she is still proudly South African as she fights for her diverse identity to be embraced.

Pallance Dladla (born August 22, 1992) is a South African actor. He has acquired a couple of awards and nominations, such as the SAFTA Award. Dladla first won awareness as a runner-up on the 2nd season of Class Act. He lost to eventual winners Abdul Khoza and Tumie Ngumla, whom he later would work with in the SABC1 drama series Tempy Pusha.

Dladla was once born in the Johannesburg, Gauteng province of South Africa. He used to be raised in the township of Soweto. Dladla grew up barring his father and used to be raised via his grandfather. According to Dladla his grandfather named him “Pallance” after his favored actor, Jack Palance.
