Well-known South African actress Elizabeth Serunye doesn’t need a man in her life. The Skeem Saam actress believes her two sons are enough men for her.
The 53-year-old told the publication that being a single mum has made her man up.
She’s known for her character of Principal Thobakgale on SABC1’s most loved drama series, Skeem Saam.

Elizabeth told the publication that growing up with boys has made her become two in one.
“I had to pull on those fists and become a tomboy,” she said.
She said she decided to change her life.
“There’s a choice that I made, that I will never have a partner as long as I’m still raising my boys. That’s how far I have gone,” she said.
She said that her role on Skeem Saam also played a role in her life.

“The strictness of the role has put too much impact on being alone, and it found me still on the route of raising my boys,” she said.
When the publication asked her if she ever wanted to have a partner, she said: “Well, we can play. I’m not a saint. But thank you so much. I have my two husbands, Bobby and Spotty,” she said.
Elizabeth also spoke about how her character and being on the drama series helped her.
“I’ll forever be the principal because people have learnt so much from her. I’ve also had a lot of lessons from her. I will remain the principal even in death.”
She said that young people shouldn’t be lazy to read.
“Firstly, have your matric because Umalusi is a key for everything. Be serious about what you want. Many people are called, but a few are chosen.”
Elizabeth said that she would only retire from acting when she was dead.
“Acting is my life. I can’t imagine myself doing something else. I’ve tried working retail in different industries, but I can’t stand eight hours while someone is looking at me and commanding me to take papers and put them somewhere,” she said.
