Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Dricus du Plessis has surprised many fans with his unbelievably talented performance on Masked Singer.
The MMA fighter, who recently defended his title against Israel “Izzy” Adesanya, participated in season two of the singing competition in May.
DRICUS DU PLESSIS MASKED SINGER PERFORMANCE
During his performance, Dricus du Plessis took on the disguise of a wildebeest in the singing competition. Performing OneRepublic’s Counting Stars, the MMA fighter stunned the crowd when he revealed his identity during his unmasking.
“You failed to mention you could sing,” interviewer Nina Drama said in a recently resurfaced clip.
Dricus responded: “If I have a mask on, nobody knows it’s me, and I can just go crazy. Little did I know that when you lose, you have to take off your mask.
He added: “I was having the best time.”

WHO WILL HE FIGHT NEXT?
According to social media rumours, Dricus du Plessis could fight Sean Strickland or Alex Pereira in his next fight.
Speaking in a press conference following his victory against Izzy, Dricus claimed he would “be ready” for whatever UFC had lined up. Although Pereira is considered a “light heavyweight”, Strickland has expressed his desire for a rematch with the South African star after losing his title in a split decision fight to Dricus in January at the UFC 297.
Referring to his predecessor, Dricus said: “No, I don’t care about silencing the people. I need to hear the people if they are booing or cheering. You saw the electric crowd; they were not cheering for me, but it was still amazing to be there.
“Going to that fight now with him, I know he can’t handle what I have. He can’t handle what I have to offer. This time, I can finish him,”
