‘Miss Bottles passed’: Naledi Aphiwe celebrates matric bachelor’s pass

South African singer-songwriter Naledi Aphiwe is celebrating her big wins after she passed her matric.

Despite being booked and busy during her matric year Naledi Aphiwe managed to ace her subjects.


 

NALEDI APHIWE CELEBRATES MATRIC BACHELOR’S PASS
Thanks to her huge social media following, she often trends whenever she posts or gets posted. The fast-rising singer is trending, and she took to social media to celebrate her bachelor’s pass.

She captioned her now-viral Instagram post, “Bachelor’s pass, babies! Jesu, miss bottles passed!” Surprisingly, the fast-rising singer jokingly mentioned her recent woes in the caption.

The 18-year-old singer was booed off stage and attacked with bottles and cans during her performance at Mthandeni’s Summer Experience, which was hosted at eMdletsheni in KwaZulu-Natal.

Against Naledi Aphiwe’s post, fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood her comments section with congratulatory messages.

Actress Nelisiwe Faith Sibiya commented, “Congratulations, baby.” Celebrity blog Freshmenmag posted, “Congratulations.”

However, seasoned on-air host Dudu Khoza commented, “Congratulations, Baby girl. Love you so much.” One of her followers posted, “Beauty, brains and bachelors!”

Another user added, “You really worked hard, babe. One thing about God is that he does not abandon his own.”

NEWFOUND FAME
The fast-rising singer from Inanda KwaZulu-Natal wrote her matric on the backdrop of her newfound fame.

In 2022, Chris Brown shared a video of Naledi Aphiwe singing on his Instagram stories. Little did Naledi know this would be a life-changing moment.

Chris later sampled her voice on his 11th studio album, 11:11, on a song titled Shooter. According to SowetanLIVE, the rapper paid Naledi Aphiwe R56,000 for sampling her voice.

In 2024, Naledi Aphiwe had the opportunity to rub shoulders with Chris Brown during his sold-out December concert at FNB Stadium.
