Lekau Sehoana rubbishes reports of being evicted from his villa

Lekau Sehoana released a statement after it was reported that he and his family are now homeless.

In a statement released on social media, the businessman explained that the house at Waterfall Estate was rented for his son, but his soon-to-be ex-wife let out the apartment for another person, hence he decided to evict the people living there while he keeps the house.

The Drip CEO explicitly stated that the reports about him being broke and homeless are not true.
“I have noted media outlets running with the story that I, my soon-to-be ex-wife and my son were evicted out of a property in Waterfall. The story is factually incorrect and and it is intended to divert the public’s attention from DRIP’s five years celebration,” he wrote.

He also made it known that he and his estranged wife are heading towards divorce, and he’s been denied access to his son.

“First, I have not lived with my soon-to-be ex-wife since 2021 and I have no access to my son. I was renting the property for my soon-to-be ex-wife in order to provide a home for my son. Second, I was previously notified by the landlord informing me that the police sought access to the property in order to seek her assistance with their investigations into the murder of DRIP’s former MD Ms Glenda Ndlanzi. When the police arrived at the property, they found that she had sub-let the property to people I do not know and without my and/or the landlord’s consent – a total breach of the lease agreement,” Lekau Sehoana wrote.

“It is for the above stated reason that I decided to cancel the lease agreement. The divorce process is ongoing and despite several attempts on my end to settle and expedite the divorce, they have not been fruitful. My legal representative has advised me against making further comments and/or statements on my divorce and any other matters incidental thereto.”
