‘I’m not proud’: Cassper apologises to Thobeka

Cassper Nyovest – real name Refiloe Phoolo – has publicly apologised to his ex, Thobeka Majozi, for not only cheating on her with his now wife Pulane but “neglecting” their son Khotso amid his cancer battle.

The rapper has come under fire after his baby mama revealed that Pulane was “the other woman” in their relationship. Cassper – who wed his bride in April – has confessed to being a serial adulterer and having a “sex addiction.”

CASSPER NYOVEST ISSUES PUBLIC APOLOGY TO THOBEKA MAJOZI
In an Instagram post, Cassper Novest revealed that he wanted to tell his “side of the story.”

He started by saying: “I’d like to confirm that everything my baby mama has said about me is true.”

Cassper claimed he had chosen not to talk about his son Khotso’s cancer battle as both he and Thobeka had previously agreed to keep the news private.

On Thobeka’s accusations that he cheated on her with Pulane amid their son’s health battle, Cassper said: “I want to take accountability for my part. That is the truth about the person that I was. It’s something I am not proud of, but it’s a part of my life and something I had to grow from and forgive myself for.

Cassper then offered a message to his male followers about a lesson he had learned.

“When you make bad decisions, these are the consequences. Not only do you hurt people, but you also don’t get to choose how they deal with the pain. So I understand [Thobeka] sharing it the way she shared it. I hope this can be an example for men to say it’s time to grow up and change, be accountable, and be responsible.

Cassper then offered a public apology to not only Thobeka Majozi, her family and his own family.

“This is the mess that I’ve created. Through Jesus Christ, I’ve been able to forgive myself and rebuild myself to be a man of honour and integrity. The truth shall set you free, and hopefully, you will find it in your heart to forgive me one day”.

DO FANS FORGIVE HIM?
While many followers acknowledged and accepted Cassper Nyovest’s apology and accountability for hurting his ex, others believed that his actions spoke louder than words.

@kim_mananaa: “The foul act for me is the timing he chose to pursue another lady, and that speaks on his character.”

@pontsho_motaung: “There was no need for this video. You banked on her silence, and now you’re doing damage control involving Jesus.”

@bahum_eee: “You married a woman that has no regard for your child. That’s how far you took it.”

@mrshillarydee: “You are married to the person you embarrassed and disrespected her with. Which then nullifies your apology, unfortunately”.
