‘I’m not poor’: Sindi Majola finally speaks out after being spotted in the streets of Joburg

Popular South African legendary actress Sindi Majola who previously dated late pop star Brenda Fassie has broken her silence since the viral social media video.


 


 

The former Rhythm City actress Sindi Majola tells Zimoja that she doesn’t need any help and she’s not poor.

“I am just going through my journey. God bless you all, ” she adds.

The publication adds that Majola has told close friends that she is not a charity case, and she is not in need of donations.

This comes after a viral video of her looking down and out in the streets of Yeoville. The socialite also made headlines when social media users shared old pictures of her and Brenda Fassie and concluded that she’s struggling.

A friend of Majola also tells the publication that the former Yizo Yizo star sells second-hand clothes, and she [Sindi Majola] left the entertainment because she realised that people are fake.

It is believed Majola is unhappy with the people who recorded her without her permission a few days ago.

The Citizen reveals that Sindi Majola gained attention from the media in 2002 after she publicly revealed her relationship with the late Brenda Fassie.

Majola is also famously known for her role as Sindi Sibiya in the SABC1 soccer drama Zone 14 from 2005 to 2008.

She also appeared in e.tv’s canned soapie, Backstage as Lindi Shabalala, a music producer and appeared as the mother of Tsotsi in the Oscar-winning film Tsotsi in 2006.

The actress and socialite has also appeared in popular TV shows Yizo Yizo, Erfsondes, The Lab, Heartlines, and Jacob’s Cross.

She also played the role of nurse Constance in e.tv’s Rhythm City from 2009 to 2011. Majola also appeared in Mzansi Magic’s Isithembiso in 2017.
