NO DAYS OFF!
While other Springboks are enjoying their downtime by relaxing on a beach holiday or socialising with friends, Siya Kolisi has been praised for using his platform and “leave” to inspire others.
This includes supporting the Bok Women’s team and women in sport in general.
The Springbok captain – who attended the female squad’s game against Australia in Cape Town last weekend – told SuperSport: “Women have been supporting us for a very long time. We all play and represent our country, and they deserve the same support that we get.
“As men, it’s our duty to intentionally be there at games, training and helping out. If the women’s game grows, we all grow and benefit”.
Siya Kolisi’s appearance and comments won the praise of not only South Africans but also Irish, Australian, and Scottish female players.
