The Milk + Cookies Festival is set to be a vibrant cultural and musical event that combines local artists with international performers.

MILK + COOKIES IS MORE THAN JUST A FESTIVAL
The Milk + Cookies Festival is a key event in the first-ever Milk + Cookies Music Week in South Africa, taking place from December 31, 2024, to January 11, 2025. The week begins in Cape Town with New Year’s celebrations, yacht parties, cultural activities, and unique fashion pop-ups featuring prominent local designers.
Throughout the week, local artists and DJs will set the mood for brunch mixers, encouraging creative interactions among artists from the U.S., South Africa, and various other African nations.
The second week emphasises artist development through workshops, panels, and networking events aimed at supporting emerging music talent in South Africa. Inspired by the successful ATL Music Week, activities such as songwriting camps and listening sessions will encourage collaboration between South African and American musicians. Additionally, an executive branch will honour industry professionals.
Organisers of the festival have announced that presale tickets will be released on Monday, November 4, and the general public can purchase tickets starting Wednesday, November 6, through the Howler website.
