In a recent Instagram Live session, Gogo Maweni set social media ablaze, reigniting her ongoing feud with fellow traditional healers, Gogo Skhotheni and Gogo Dineo Ndlanzi. The fiery session, which has since gone viral, was packed with bold accusations and personal revelations that left viewers stunned.


 

During the live broadcast, shared by Maphepha Ndaba, Gogo Maweni referred to a tragic event involving Gogo Skhotheni’s child, saying, “That girl whose child passed away.” She explained that she chose not to respond to Gogo Skhotheni out of respect for her father’s advice, emphasizing the importance of remembering her values and upbringing. This interaction added fuel to their already tense relationship, as tensions between the three traditional healers have continued to escalate over time

Meanwhile, in the entertainment world, South African actress and TV host Khanyi Mbau has been open about her decision to undergo more plastic surgery. This time, she opted for blepharoplasty and a subnasal lip lift to tighten the skin around her eyes and enhance her lips. Documenting her journey on social media, Khanyi explained her desire for a more permanent solution after growing tired of fillers and Botox. The procedures, which reportedly cost between R45,000 and R60,000, have sparked discussions among her fans and critics alike.

On a more somber note, the South African music community is mourning the loss of Siphiwe “General GTZ” Sibisi, the last surviving member of the iconic Kwaito group Chiskop. Siphiwe passed away on September 29, 2024, after undergoing surgery for cancer. Despite initial signs of recovery, he tragically lost his battle with the illness. Siphiwe’s death marks the end of an era for Chiskop, as all its original members—Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala, Sizwe “Lollopop” Motaung, and Sibusiso “SB-Bless” Thenjekwayo—have also passed away.
