For Jesus…and Kiki: Siya Kolisi’s special Springbok victory

While Siya Kolisi could not celebrate his daughter Keziah’s birthday with her, many rugby fans believe that the Springbok captain dedicated the season’s final game and phenomenal victory against Wales to her.

Siya is currently in the middle of a high-profile divorce from his wife, Rachel.


 

SIYA KOLISI SHARES SPECIAL MESSAGE TO KIKI AFTER SPRINGBOKS WIN
On Saturday, 23 November, Siya Kolisi’s lastborn, daughter Keziah, celebrated her 7th birthday.

The bubbly little girl spent her day with her brother Nic, mom Rachel, and Siya’s siblings Liyema and Liphelo. The family – missing the patriarch enjoyed a hike and picnic together, as seen in pics posted on Rachel’s Instagram account.

Thousands of kilometres away, Siya led the Springboks into another victory – 45-12 against Wales. The game marked the close of the test season for 2024.

Sadly, Siya Kolisi could not spend the day with his daughter, but he did share two special posts dedicated to her. In the first one, he simply shared: “Happy birthday, my love.”

The second post came after the Springboks victory against Wales.

In the comments section, many fans believe Siya put on a stellar performance against Wales in dedication to his daughter.

Meanwhile, as he does with every match, Siya Kolisi sported an inspirational message handwritten on his wristband strapping – the sign of a cross and the word: “Jesus.”
