The couple officially wed in a traditional ceremony in January.
INSIDE AKANI SIMBINE’S WHITE WEDDING
According to their public wedding directory, Terisa and Akani Simbine wed on Saturday, 7 December, at the Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.
The classy couple had an all-black theme, with guests that included fellow sprinterCaster Semenya and her wife Violet Raseboya.
The garden wedding – adorned with white flowers – took place with a beautiful background of the mountains.
Akani Simbine wore a white double-breasted suit with black and white loafers. Meanwhile, Terisa wore a sophisticated strapless silk gown with a thigh-high slit.
The couple’s one-year-old son was also a feature, as was Akani’s firstborn from a previous relationship.
The couple – who asked their guests to donate in cash to their PayPal account – later swopped their white attire for matching burgundy ensemble.
