The multi-award-winning singer and producer has headlined several shows across the globe. Kabza De Small has also shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in the music industry, including Canadian rapper Drake.
Against Kabza De Small’s big wins, DJ Maphorisa made it known that he was changing the game and was proud of that. DJ Maphorisa was talking to DJ Oskido while living it up in the Bahamas.
DJ Maphorisa’s gesture convinced many that he was proud of Kabza De Small, with whom he has shared the decks since 2018. Surprisingly, DJ Oskido revealed how DJ Maphorisa introduced Kabza De Small to him.
Kabza De Small made headlines a week ago with his Red Bull Orchestra Show. He shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Amapiano, including DJ Maphorisa and Young Stunna.
Earlier this year, he won big at the Metro FM Music Awards. Kabza De Small was the night’s biggest winner, with four awards.
DJ Maphorisa’s remarks come barely a few months after rumour mill had that the two had a fallout. News of their rumoured fallout made headlines in 2023. However, earlier this year, ZiMoja revealed that the two had called it quits.

The alleged fallout came in the backdrop of DJ Maphorisa’s Instagram Live sessions. He seemingly took a swipe at Kabza De Small. The muso claimed to have thrust Kabza De Small into the limelight. Rumour mill has it that Kabza De Small was not ok with the social media rants.
Against the news of their fallout, the duo directed their bookings to their record labels, Piano Hub and Blaqboy Music. The two later downplayed the news. Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa announced that a new Scorpion King album was on the cards.
However, the duo did not reveal when they would drop their latest project.
Kabza De Small ventured into music in 2009. However, he was signed under Tyrique de Bruyne and dropped his first studio album in 2016 ‘Avenuee Sound’ under Bestbyfar Records.
Against his debut album, he established his record label, PianoHub. He had his shot at fame in 2018 when he dropped his single, ‘Umshove.’ He later rebranded himself Scorpion Kings after joining forces with DJ Maphorisa. Since then, the two have been winning big.
