Against the now-viral post, fans and celebrities were quick to flood her comments section with warm birthday wishes. Actress Tebogo Thobejane posted, “Happy birthday. Reality TV star Londie London commented, “More Life Mama.”

On the other hand, fans quickly connected the dots about her age. Many were puzzled to learn about DJ Lamiez Holworthy’s age. DJ Lamiez Holworthy was born on 12 June 1992 in Eersterust, South Africa.

She joins a host of celebrities who recently celebrated their birthdays. A few days ago, Murdah Bongz celebrated his 37th birthday. DJ Zinhle threw a surprise party for Murdah Bongz and gifted him a sleek Cobra Convertible.

However, if DJ Lamiez Holworthy is throwing a lavish birthday party, little is known. Like those before her, she has celebrated her birthdays with signature parties with close friends and family in attendance.

However, controversial blogger Musa Khawula accused the seasoned radio DJ of abuse on her birthday. Mzansi was quick to take a swipe at the celebrity blogger for clout chasing.

DJ Lamiez Holworthy has yet to address the abuse allegations. Over the years, such allegations have led to cancel culture, often taking a toll on their gigs and endorsement deals.

MAKING HEADLINES
No doubt, her birthday comes barely a few weeks after it was alleged that she was suspended from Metro FM alongside LootLove for attending ANC rallies ahead of the just-ended elections.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Musa Khawula posted, “Metro FM suspends Luthando Shozi, better known as LootLove, and Lamiez Holworthy for attending the ANC rallies.”

However, against his post, SABC was quick to downplay the rumours. Acting Group Executive, Corporate Affairs and Marketing Mmoni Seapolelo revealed that she was not suspended as alleged. She said, “Regarding DJ Lamiez Holworthy, she is not on suspension or unscheduled for any matter.”
