According to reports, legendary actor Sello Maake KaNcube and his wife, Pearl Mbewe, have filed for divorce. The former Queen actor and his three-year marriage split up last year, according to Sunday World.
The newspaper was informed by a source that after their 2021 marriage ended in arguments over Maake kaNcube’s alleged ex-partner, the actor chased Mbewe from their Dube, Soweto, home.

She started it all in preschool, getting ready for her very first theatrical performance. At eleven years old, she realized acting was her true calling.She was inspired by SABC 1 at 8 p.m. and SABC 2 at 9 p.m, according to Drum
Candy Magidimisa would watch Connie Ferguson play Karabo Moroka on Generations, Sindi Dlathu play her iconic character of Thandaza Mukwevho on Muvhango and like most, she fell in love with the art instantly through them.Ezoic
“I remember telling my mother that I will be an actress one day and I will start working on Muvhango and go overseas and have my own production,” she recalls.Little resources were available to her as a young child from the Venda community of Shayandima in Limpopo to further her aspirations. She continued to pursue them despite that, though.
The young lady from the township packed up and moved to the City of Gold to pursue her studies after high school. She signed up for a course that would help her get a “stable” job.
“My mother finally allowed me to go and study what I love, which is a Bachelor of Arts in live performance, majoring in acting [at AFDA]” and she got her degree.

Grammy Award winner Tyla Seethal has responded to rumours that she snubbed Minister Zizi Kodwa during her hero’s welcome at OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday, 30 March.
TYLA RESPONDS TO CLAIMS SHE DID NOT WANT ZIZI KODWA TO HOLD HER GRAMMY
Some people seem to believe Tyla and Zizi Kodwa are budding heads, others may even think that maybe the 22-year-old is simply just not a fan of the African National Congress party entirely. However, this seems not to be the case. All this comes after the Water hitmaker was seen in a viral video seemingly snubbing the Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture recently.
Tyla finally returned to her home soil for the first time since December. Earlier this year, she made history in the United States by becoming the youngest African to ever win a Grammy Award.
In a clip during her hero’s welcome at the international airport in Johannesburg, the minister can be seen seemingly attempting to pose with Tyla along with her Grammy. Facing the Amapiano star as seen in the clip, it appeared Kodwa also tried to get his hands on the shiny gold award to get the perfect snap.
However, all that was cut short as Tyla simply turned her back towards Kodwa and instead made eye contact with the cameras which were positioned in front of her.
Taking to her timelines, Tyla has since denied the allegation that she snubbed the minister. “The minister told me to raise my award higher And I did!!. Thank you again to all my supporters who came to give me a warm welcome home!!” the singer wrote.
