Jafta from Rhythm City: Where is Sandile Dlamini now?

Sandile Dlamini is a South African actor best known for his on-screen character of Jafta on e.tv drama series Rhythm City.

Rhythm City was a South African drama series produced by Quizzical Pictures. The drama series aired between 2007 and 2021. However, its cancellation shocked many since it was one of the most-watched drama series in South Africa.

The showrunners made it known that they needed new shows to revamp the channel’s programming.

WHERE IS HE NOW?
Sandile Dlamini wowed many with his unmatched flair, and he was that star actor we all love to hate. While on Rhythm City, he starred alongside some of South Africa’s finest.

He starred alongside Mduduzi Mabaso, best known for his on-screen character, Suffocate Ndlovu. However, the late Jamie Bartlett and Mncedisi Shanangu were also part of the star-studded cast of the drama series.

However, Sandile Dlamini hasn’t starred in several drama series since the canning of Rhythm City, leaving many trying to connect the dots about his whereabouts. After the drama series, several actors were left jobless, with a few joining other productions.

Sandile Dlamini joined the star-studded cast of The Black Door. He only appeared in season one of the drama series. In 2023, e.tv confirmed that The Black Door was going for a spin-off. The drama series was replaced by Isitha – The Enemy through a spin-off.

Since then, Dlamini has yet to star in another big-budget drama series. However, Sandale Dlamini has not been active on social media. He last posted on X, formerly Twitter, in 2019.
