Pearl Thusi reaches a milestone today and it’s been a well of emotions for the star.
The actress and DJ announced her birthday on Instagram; she also expressed herself in a lengthy note.

Boikie Pholo Biography in real life

Appreciation post to Ntate Boikie Pholo 🙏 He was born on 8 March 1940 in Orkney, North West of South Africa. Unlike many old guards in the entertainment industry, he didn’t grow up confined to acting. Rather he was a teacher and was enrolled at Batswana College in Johannesburg.
Pholo thrust into the limelight barely came three months after quitting teaching. In 1986 he landed his first role as a lead actor in a radio drama called “Mabopane” in 1986. Pholo’s breakout role was playing the lead in the popular series “Lesilo Rulo”.

Surprise tribute to Yvonne Chaka Chaka

GHANANIAN Awards, the Legends and Legacy Africa Ball Awards, want a taste of Mzansi.

Organisers felt Mzansi was a perfect place to bring the event to and honour our musicians.

The awards launch was held on Thursday, 16 May, at the Sandton Convention Centre, and the awards will take place on 8 June at the same venue.

They will be celebrating the Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka. She told Daily Sun she was blessed to be honoured.

Zola Hashatsi said he’s been going to therapy to deal with his grief.

THE past few years have been tough for actor and TV presenter Zola Hashatsi.

He has lost a lot of his friends in the industry from Kuli Roberts to Siyanda Sesimani, Bruno Majola, Phil Hlophe and most recently, Mpho Sebeng.

Zola (35) is popularly known as the one who confirms all the deaths of celebs by people on social media. He opened up to Daily Sun about losing his friends and how he’s dealing with it.

Back to school for Yvonne Chaka Chaka

THE Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, is happy to have finished her honours degree.

She completed honours in management practices and leadership from the Henley Business School in December.

The iconic singer spoke to Daily Sun about going back to school.

“I went back to school because I sit on different boards, and some of them are international. If you go there and you’ve got no knowledge, it becomes a mission, and that’s what inspired me to do management practices and leadership. However, it was terrible. Academic writing is not easy, but I’m glad I did it,” she said.
