According to a reliable source, the actor has chosen to take a hiatus from the entertainment industry, opting to take a break and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle.

“He’s taking a break from acting, because he feels it’s time to take a break from the small screen. He wants to take things easy and relax, because he’s not getting any younger,” the source says.

E.tv’s Scandal! is making history in South Africa by becoming the first soapie to air seven days a week.

The channel announced on Wednesday, 10 July, stating that the new schedule will begin on Saturday, 13 July at 7.30 pm.“e.tv is proud to announce a groundbreaking moment in South African TV history with the expansion of its beloved soapie Scandal! to a seven-days-a-week broadcast schedule,” the statement read.

“Beginning this weekend, on July 13 and 14, viewers can now enjoy the gripping drama of Scandal! every day, cementing its status as a cornerstone of e.tv’s programming line-up.”
