RACHEL KOLISI ON VALENTINE’S DAY: ‘BROKE MY HEART ALL OVER AGAIN’
Mom of two Rachel Kolisi expressed that she made a brave decision this Valentine’s Day, Friday 14 February, and it broke her heart all over again. She went on to explain that parenting while you’re going through things is challenging. Take a look…

“We do love everyday anyway. But this Valentine’s Day I made a brave decision and it broke my heart all over again. Parenting when the world feels like it’s crumbling around you is a different kind of challenge. And one I hope I’ll never have to experience at this level again,” she wrote.

“Never been more grateful for the very few who showed up to support and lean in this week, specially.
One day at a time felt too big this week so I just did one hour at a time and it kinda helped – I made it to Saturday! 😅❤️,” she continued.

WHY IS RACHEK HEARTBROKEN?
Rachel has been married to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi for the last eight years. The pair tied the knot in 2016 and met back in 2012. Rachel and Siya have two kids together – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7). Siya currently lives in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, as he plays for the Sharks.

Rachel and their two kids live in Cape Town, Western Cape. In October 2024, Rachel and Siya shocked South Africans when they unexpectedly announced their split, via a joint statement. At the time, the pair expressed that they are committed to raising their kids with the love they have always known.

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect, and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us,” read the statement.

“While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known. We will also continue working together on the Foundation that means so much to us,” read the statement.
