Big Zulu doesn’t want peace with Duncan

The war between top rappers Big Zulu and Duncan continues to escalate. The rapper whose real name is Siyabonga Nene, remains deeply affected by Duncan’s diss track, which targeted him and his family.

The beef started in 2022 when Big Zulu released 150 Bars, a track that took shots at several hip-hop artists, including Duncan, KO, Cassper Nyovest, and Kwesta.

Each rapper responded with their own diss tracks, but Duncan’s Umngcwabo struck a nerve with Big Zulu, highlighting a rift that went beyond professional boundaries. While Big Zulu has reconciled with the other musicians, he stated his unwillingness to forgive Duncan, citing the personal nature of Duncan’s attack as deeply humiliating.

“I’m an old man and I have a family and I can’t be humiliated in public by a small boy. We’ve never met with Duncan after we released our diss tracks. I’m not intending to meet him and make peace with him after what he did,” he said.
“Why was he hurt by my response because he started it? I didn’t have issues with other musicians responding. It’s not over; expect part two. I titled the first one ‘Umngcwabo’ (funeral), where I buried him. Now, I will do the unveiling of his tombstone.” he said.
