Babes Wodumo on Mampintsha’s doppelganger

Babes Wodumo– real name Bongekile Simelane, is shocked after seeing a picture of a man who closely resembles her late husband, Mampintsha.


 

BABES WODUMO REACTS TO MAMPINTSHA’S LOOKALIKE
It has been two year since legendary musician Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo died.

His wife, Babes Wodumo, came across a picture of someone who resemble him.

She shared an image of a man who resembled Mampintsha, sitting in a pedal boat with a woman.

She captioned the post on Instagram, “Ngaze ngathuka,” which means “I am shocked.”

WHEN DID MAMPINTSHA DIE?
The acclaimed musician died on December 24, 2022, after suffering a stroke.

To date, Babes still thinks about him from time to time and maintains that he is her soulmate.

On Valentine’s Day this year, Babes honoured him on social media.

The star shared a video of their favourite moments together and expressed her gratitude.

“As young as I was when we met, thank you father God for allowing me to find my soulmate at such a young age. What a journey it was sthandwa sam [my love]. Today, I would love to say thank you babazi for believing in me as Babes Wodumo and most importantly as a wife,” she wrote.

She added: “Lapho ukhona [wherever you are], I assure you that the Maphumulo’s and Simelane’s are well taken care of. I love you.”
