Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, penned a sweet and touching birthday tribute to Liyema on his 23rd birthday on 28 February.
RACHEL KOLISI PENS BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE TO SIYA’S BROTHER
Mom of two Rachel Kolisi took to Instagram to pen a sweet tribute to her estranged husband’s brother, Liyema on his 23rd birthday. Siya and Rachel legally adopted his two siblings – Liyema and Liphelo when they were younger. The Springboks captain shares a mom with his two siblings, who tragically passed away.
Rachel has been a mother figure to Siya’s siblings. Taking to Instagram, she expressed that Liyema is gentle, kind and considerate. She went on to say that she is so proud of him. Take a look…
“Liyema is kind, gentle and always considerate. He goes above and beyond for people he loves. He works hard, is committed and (brings) joy goes where he goes,” she wrote.
“I’m so proud of you @offlame_g and everything that you are. Excited what 23 has in store for you. Happy birthday ❤️,” she continued.
Rachel has two kids – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7) with estranged husband, Siya Kolisi. The pair announced their split in October 2024 via a joint statement, after eight years of marriage. Rachel recently opened up about her heartbreaking Valentine’s Day.
RACHEL KOLISI REVEALED BIRTHDAY SPOILS FROM LIYEMA
On Rachel’s birthday in January, Liyema penned a touching tribute to “mother figure” Rachel.
“Words can not express how grateful I am to have you as a mother figure in my life. I love you so much, may God bless you with many more years and to many more memories @rachelkolisi,” he wrote.

Rachel also revealed that Liyema spoiled her with a custom cake and birthday gift.
“@offlame_g is a working man now so (he) couldn’t join the birthday celebrations on Tuesday but came home to surprise me with this tonight. The most thoughtful gentleman,” she wrote at the time.
