Zandi Nhlapho will be making a TV comeback, as she will be joining e.tv’s Imbewu: The Seed on Monday, 18th of October.
The legendary TV presenter is to play the role of Nompi Khanyeza, who is Fikile’s (Phindile Gwala) mum.
Speaking of her return to Daily Sun, she said she feels both happy and nervous.
“All this feels interesting to me. At first, I was not sure whether I’m happy or nervous. It was a combination of all that. This is because I had consciously made a decision to stay away from the industry, but when something is your calling, you have to answer at some point. I thought to give it a chance and see where it takes me.”
Zandi also opened up on how she secured the role.
“My joining Imbewu was actually a short and simple process. They called and asked me to send an audition video and just like that, I was hired.”
The TV personality says her return will see her doing different things, as she wants to focus on production, and she has some idea she wants to pitch on a production level.
