DJ Sumbody whose real name is Oupa John Sefoka’s partner, known as Tlotlo, penned a heartfelt letter to the amapiano hitmaker bidding him farewell at a memorial service that was held at Lewende Woord Church in Centurion on Wednesday morning.
The deceased sister, Thandiwe read the letter his brother’s partner wrote on her behalf, because she couldn’t speak herself since she was emotional. According to what letter that was read at the service, we learnt that the couple have been together for 12 years.

DJ Sumbody will be laid to rest this coming weekend, on November 26, at Ga-Masemola, Apel Four Ways Cross.
He was shot dead while he was making his way to a gig in his VW Golf in the early hours of Sunday morning in Woodmead Drive and Woodland Drive in Sandton at about midnight.
His bodyguard who was travelling with also died on the scene, another person who was travelling with in a different car, was rushed to hospital after he suffered from gunshot wounds.
