The incidents behind Deborah Fraser’s death have been made public.

Deborah Fraser is a name synonymous with excellence in the field of gospel singing in South Africa. She has spent several decades working in the music industry, and as a result, her fame has spread to many other parts of the world. The most recent record she put out was Ujehova Akanqotshwa in 2019, however she has not been able to play live since then because to the widespread Covid-19 pandemic. As a result of the epidemic, none of her live performances were able to go on as planned.

She acknowledged that the music industry has undergone significant transformations since the days of cassette tapes and compact discs to the present day digital world of downloads, but she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to continue to be relevant in the industry.

A number of years ago, she was given the diagnosis of diabetes, and she has had a number of close calls with her health. At the tail end of last year, she was quoted as saying that she is in good health by the publication Drum magazine.

There was a video of her performance from April that went viral on social media. The video was shared by a number of users. During her performance, she was seen sitting in a wheelchair, and many people were curious as to whether or not she is physically unable to stand or walk without the assistance of a wheelchair. Others believed that it was merely a part of the act.

It is now being reported that the gospel singer has unfortunately passed away. According to the accounts of those who knew her, she passed away after a brief battle with illness. She had 56 years under her belt at that point. I pray that the Lord will grant her soul the tranquility it deserves.
