Somizi Buyani Mhlongo is a famous South African media personality, television presenter, actor, dancer and choreographer.He shot to fame when, he appeared on the musical and political film, Sarafina! which gained him prominence.He was born and bred in Soweto, South Africa. He was brought into this world on 23 December 1972, he is currently 49 years old as of October 2022.

The talented actor is the son of the late veteran actress Mary Twala and the father of Bahumi Madisakwane Mhlongo.
