Just as we were drying our tears, another Kwaito legend passed away. Not too long ago, Mzansi was in mourning over the passing of Magesh from TKZEE, a well-known Kwaito Star.
Julius Malema, the EFF’s leader, confirmed it by tweeting this breaking news on his official Twitter account.
Following the death of its legend, Thabo Tsotetsi, due to illness, the South African Kwaito group Alaska has been shaken by yet more heartbreaking news. The hitmaker gained fame as a member of the well-known Kwaito group Alaska.
Thabo passed away after being admitted to the Bheki Mlangeni hospital in Jabulani, Soweto, in a severe condition, according to family-affiliated sources.
On Sunday morning, word of his passing quickly traveled around his Meadowlands Zone 7 neighborhood.
Les Ma-Ada passed away in November 2013, and Thabo’s death shocked the group.
Although the precise reason for his passing is yet unknown, sources claim he was in severe condition when he was admitted to the hospital.
Alaska’s hit song “Accuse,” considered to be one of the most recognizable Kwaito group songs from the early 1990s, is said to be one of the songs that would help people remember Thabo.
Accuse captures real-life neighborhood issues. In this song, Alaska sings about the house break-ins, robberies, and crimes that were prevalent in Ndofaya at that time.
