The year 2022 is about to come to an end and things are continuing to be more difficult for certain celebrities regarding their finances.
David Kau is a South African media personality known for being a comedian popular known from his famous show series being The Pure Monate Show. Besides being a comedian, he is popular known for being a host. Kau has been in the industry for some time and has been a host for shows such as Blacks Only, talent show:So You Think You’re Funny that airs on SABC. Zahara and other celebrities were not the only ones going through financial struggles.
According to Zalebs, David Kau is part of them and is about to be homeless if he does not pay his debt.
It is alleged that David will soon no longer have a home as he owes The First National Bank (FNB) a loan that he was once given to purchase a home that is located in Johannesburg.
Papers from the court involving him not paying his debt said, “In terms of the mortgaged bond, the first respondent acknowledged that he is lawfully indebted and bound to the applicant in the sum of R1662 198 and the additional amount of R333 000”.
He was allegedly supposed to have paid R14 000 monthly installments to settle his debt but he couldn’t pay from last year and now his arrears are up to R275 000.
It has not been long since Mzansi had to donate for Doctor Malinga who could not pay SARS and now another media personality needs help as he is about to be homeless.
It is so sad to see celebrities continuing to find themselves in these situations whereas they should learn from others who have been there and not find themselves in those situations.
They must learn not to make debts that are over what they make, they need to think that days and months are not the same and therefore ask themselves before making debts that how will they pay them when they are not making money like before.
