Penny Lebyane earned a National Diploma in Public Relations, Media/Communications from the famous University of South Africa.

Penny Lebyane (born December 25, 1976) is a South African disc jockey and radio personality. Many listeners prefer to refer to her as “The Queen of Radio.”


 

 

 

 

Her experience in the business has given her confidence, and she is the first black female disc jockey in South Africa. She has worked with a number of prominent radio stations, including Metro FM.

She was placed with the judges in the 2002 M-net competition Idols. She hosted the 8th Annual Metro FM Music Awards in 2007. In February 2010, she co-hosted the SABC1 lifestyle show Motswako.

Penny Lebyane is a radio personality who has worked as a DJ and a host. She has worked in radio since she was a child.

She began working at the Voice of Soweto community radio station in Grade 12. She made her acting debut in the second season of the South African sitcom City Ses’la.
