Mzansi defend Khanyi Mbau against foreign woman trolling her over skin-lightening

A non-South African woman is seen trolling Khanyi Mbau after watching Netflix’s first African reality series, Young, Famous, and African.

Khanyi’s skin-lightening journey isn’t new to most South Africans, but the tweep with the handle “the twerking girl” juxtaposed the actress’ old and new photos in other to reveal the difference in her skin colour.

The lady says it’s embarrassing and ridiculous for Khanyi to bleach her skin white.

Unexpectedly, mzansi Twitter didn’t take it lightly with the critic, as they dragged and schooled her.

Reactions be like:

“To be fair I don’t know what business Ava Vidal has dragging Khanyi Mbau, she clearly hasn’t been in front of a mirror for a while.”

Basically South Africans are saying that, they don’t need help in roasting khanyi and that nobody outside this country has a right to say anything about our Khanyi Mbau… re tla mo gwara alone…. jeso take the wheel, its gonna be a long day.”

I’m not a fan of Khanyi Mbau or her look. But she’s grown and made a decision about how she wanted to look. For people to now say she’s embarrassing for her choices are weird AF. She never asked to be anyone’s role model or an ambassador for black woman in SA!!!”
