The September 23, 1974-born Misuzulu Sinqobile kaZwelithini is better known by his stage name, Misuzulu Zulu. It was he who ascended to the throne of the Zulus. He is revered as a wise and powerful monarch in the classic sense.

He is the only legitimate heir to the throne because King Goodwill Zwelithini and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini did not produce any further children.

Some say Misuzulu Zulu succeeded his father as king on March 12, 2021. The next King of the Zulus, Misuzulu Zulu, was crowned three months after his father left. Their leader was known as Misuzulu Zulu.

Let’s not waste any time and look at some interesting facts about the new Zulu monarch.

On September 23rd, 1974—the 23rd day of the month—Mizuzulu Zulu entered the world. KwaHlabisa, in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal, was his birthplace and boyhood home. Misuzulu Zulu is the eldest of his parents’ children.

Both his mother, Queen Mantfombi MaDlamini Zulu, and his father, the late King Goodwill Zwelithini, were royalty, therefore he was born into a privileged household. Misuzulu Zulu’s mom is honored as the Great Wife, a title she rightfully deserves. Only 26 children and 6 women are left to manage the kingdom after the death of King Goodwill Zwelithini.
