Mathula was born on December 31, 1993, in Durban, Kwa-Mashu, South Africa, and raised there. She is thought to be the daughter of former South African President Jacob Zuma, who had approximately 22 children. She and her family then relocated to Umhlanga Rocks. She matriculated in 2011 after completing her study at Parkhill High School in Durban. She graduated from AFDA Durban in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in motion pictures and live performances. Ntombizenhlanhla Amanda Zuma is her sister.
She began her professional acting career in 2018 with cameo roles in Mazansi Bioskop episodes like “Abasebenzi 1 & 2” and “Abo Chommee.” In the interim, he made an appearance in the Ibutho series. She joined the cast of the Mzanzi Magic drama serial eHostela in 2019 and portrayed the role of “Fikephethwe.” Her character became quite popular with the public, and she returned to perform it in both seasons. She won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Simon Sabela Film Awards 2019 for this role later in the year.
Then she joined the serial Ifalakhe and portrayed “Phikiwe,” a supporting character.
