Kwaito star released on bail after being arrested for drugs possession

Popular kwaito artist who arrested last week for the possession of cocaine bag, valued at R25 has been released on R1000 bail.

It will be remembered that Mzansi Celebrity News reported last week about this star as he was taken to a Police station where a case of drugs possession was opened.

It is becoming a norm for celebrities to be caught with drugs as some are even using it.

Most celebrities are using substances for some reasons and we have seen others who got caught with it too.

Danger, a member of popular kwaito group, Big Nuz is the latest one to be arrested for drugs possession.

Danger, whose real name is Mzingisi Tshomela, appeared in the Amanzimtoti Magistrates court on Friday last week, the 10th June and being remanded in custody.

The 39-year-old artist from Durban got arrested o Sunday 5 June and will appear again on 23 August.

The fellow group member, Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo was also seen in court to support Danger.

One of Danger’s close friends said that the arrest looked like a plot to discredit him. He assumed that the police got a tip-off and Danger was indeed carrying a small bag of cocaine but not selling it.
