Seasoned actress Lusanda Mbane has announced her departure from popular E.tv telenovela Imbewu The Seed has left the show barely a year after she joined the show.

She took to Facebook and announced her departure in an emotional post and said no one knows if Makhosazana [her on-screen character] is dead or not, but time will tell.

“So this was Makhosazana’s last scene on Imbewu, after which I packed up from Durban and came back home. No one knows if Makhosazana is dead or not, but we leave it there. Let the universe and time decide”. Said Lusanda.

 

 

Last year the actress said she was elated to be back on our small TV screens as Makhosazana after she exiting Scandal as Boniswa Langa.

Makhosazana like her Scandal character Boniswa had no limits and has already made her go to places she never thought she would ever be made to go for a character. The actress said the biggest between her Imbewu character and Scanda, role was that Boniswa had children and that often anchored her somehow.

Lusanda revealed to her followers that she left the show because she was filming in Durban and that is too far from her husband and children, who live in Johannesburg.

She wanted to clarify that she had no disagreements with the producers of the Durban-based soapie as they treated her well and had to leave because she wasn’t coping with the distance from her family.
