Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA, is a South African rapper. Born and raised in Cape Town, Forbes gained significance after releasing his single “Victory Lap” which was released from his debut studio album, Altar Ego.
One of the best rappers that have emerged from the South is AKA. Ah, that cannot be simply refuted as a fact. But it appears that, like Hip-“golden Hop’s age,” the rapper’s heyday of dominating the music charts has passed, and now he must cling to his social media relevancy to convince people that he is still a performer. Fans questioned whether this was a side business or a rapper searching for a method to make money when they learned about his newest side gig on social media.
AKA is a longtime supporter of Manchester United FC, as anyone who has followed him for a while would attest. Consequently, he even possesses a tattoo of the team’s badge on his arm.
The fact that he tweets about their matches on social media is therefore not surprising. But when he posted his most recent tweets, things really got interesting.
The rapper first revealed in a screenshot that he had wagered R1 800 on Betway for Manchester United to defeat Southampton FC.
He recently posted a bet he made again for Manchester of about R10k and this caused a stir on social media after it was alleged that the team lost.
