Celebrities That Mzansi Has Forgotten About.

In South Africa we are so blessed with talented people and the beautiful thing is that they share their talents with us. Sometimes the talent they have makes them famous and they end up making a living out of that which is a beautiful. After all doing something you love and getting paid at it is the best feeling in the world.

Their talents range from being in the entertainment industry and in sports. They come in and blow our minds with their talents and we fall in love with them.


Then they just vanish into thin air like they were never famous at all. No explanation no nothing just poof! Sometimes they do resurface after sometime when we have forgotten about them and they explain what happened to them and why they disappeared from the profession they were in. This is rare because sometimes they never resurface and we sadly hear about their passing as time goes on.

Now I thought I should share with you some of the celebrities we haven’t heard from in a while and we have forgotten about them.

1. Mpendulo Buthelezi

– He was the presenter of the SABC 1’s dancing competition show from the year 2006 to 2012. He was working together with Thembi Seete.

Mpendulo is originally from Mpumalanga, he graduated from Matshidiso High School in Meadowlands in 2000. The 34-year-old talent told Daily Sun that he’s been selling shoes on the streets for several years now alongside six friends.

2. Mandla Gaduka

– Mandla used to play the acting role in the SABC 1’s soap opera; Generations playing Choppa. In 2011 he was one of the contestants on the SABC1 reality competition Dance Your Butt Off. His weight at the start of the competition was 87.0kg and his BMI 32.7kg/m2

3. Tsholofelo Maseko

Tsholofelo Maseko is a South African television presenter best known for co- presenting the SABC1 magazine shows Ses’khona and Mzansi Insider.

4. Chommee

Kwaito queen of dance Chomee was the first woman on the board of premier music conference and exhibition, Moshito.

5. Psyfo

Sipho Ngwenya also known by his stage name Psyfo, is a South African musician and actor best known for his role as Ajax on the SABC1 soap opera Generations, from 2006-2010.
