Black Coffee’s ex-wife Enhle Mbali has opened up about how she had checked herself into a mental institution.

Enhle was talking during an interview on Kaya959 during a breakfast show with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka. The actress stated that although now she seemed to be in a great place, she was once in a very dark place.

 

“I remember before doing Sincerely Yours [her podcast], I found myself having to go to a mental institution,” she said.

She adds that people will always believe what they read online without knowing another part of the story.

“I think I’ve been in a really great place for a very long time. Obviously, people don’t see the journey behind the healing … (they) only see the trends and then it’s done,” Enhle said.
